Requires iOS / iPadOS 26 or later on iPhone or iPad. On-device classification requires an Apple Intelligence-capable device. Cloud conversation requires Sign in with Apple, consent and cloud access. Voice and conversation support Japanese and English.

Talking and memories
Speech recognition runs on your device. On compatible devices, conversation processing can run on your device too. If you choose cloud conversation, the text described below is processed by our server. Temporary audio files are deleted after processing or cancellation. Confirmed memories stay on your device and may be included in its backups.
Optional cloud conversation
With Sign in with Apple and consent, cloud conversation sends your current text input. Separately enabling conversation context also sends up to six recent exchanges. Recordings and saved memories are not sent. The App Store describes TypeSafe AI (JeV) analysis, OpenAI fallback, and GPT-6 Luna replies when conversation context is enabled. Optional usage analytics are off by default and do not include conversation content.

Optional usage analytics
If you enable aggregate analytics, Google Analytics for Firebase receives app-use events, such as completing the tutorial, receiving a voice reply, opening the purchase screen, and purchase or restoration outcomes. The SDK can also process an installation identifier, session information, device and OS information, approximate region derived from IP, and purchase-related product and price information.
These data help us understand which parts of the app work well. They are not completely anonymous. We do not include conversation text, audio, memory contents, names, or email addresses in analytics events. Advertising identifiers and advertising personalization are disabled.
You can turn sharing off in Settings. This stops subsequent collection and resets local analytics data; it does not erase previously received reports. See Google’s privacy policy for its handling of data.
Analytics retention
We configure Google Analytics to retain user-level and event-level data for two months, without extending the period when you use the app again. This setting does not generally limit the retention of standard aggregated reports. Changes to the retention setting can take 24 hours to become effective.
Purchases
Apple processes payments and manages your purchase history. The app checks StoreKit purchase status to unlock the other companion and restore purchases. We do not receive your payment card details. See Apple’s privacy policy.
Support and this website
If you email support, we receive the address and information you send so we can respond. Please avoid sharing private conversations or recordings. This website does not add analytics or advertising scripts. Its hosting service may process technical connection data to deliver and protect the site.
Your choices and questions
Manage microphone permission in iOS Settings, edit or delete memories in the app, and control optional analytics in the app’s Settings. Contact contact@sts.works with privacy questions or requests concerning information you have sent to support.
From version 1.0.2: optional Meta advertising measurement
With your iOS tracking permission, Angel or Devil uses Meta App Events to measure advertising for this app. It shares device/advertising identifiers, installs, launches/sessions and the product identifier when checkout begins. Meta also processes app, device, network and SDK diagnostic information. The app does not send Meta conversations, recordings, saved memories, account IDs, names, email, purchase receipts, prices or revenue. Restores, existing entitlements and trial/subscription status are not reported as new purchases.
Measurement starts only in the foreground production App Store app with tracking permission. Declining does not restrict features. You can change permission in iOS Settings. New Meta communication is blocked without permission or outside the foreground; information already transmitted cannot be recalled. Automatic SKAdNetwork reporting is disabled in this version. Google Analytics and cloud-processing consent remain separate.
